Embark on a captivating 3-day adventure through the heart of Peru’s northern coast, where history, culture, and natural beauty collide. In Trujillo, uncover the secrets of ancient civilizations at the awe-inspiring Huacas del Sol y de la Luna and the vast adobe city of Chan Chan, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Then, head to Chiclayo, where the fascinating Royal Tombs of Sipán - telling a unique story of the Moche culture.

Upon arrival in the city of Trujillo, you will be transferred to your hotel.
We will start our tour to the Moche Valley to visit the Huacas del Sol y la Luna, an impressive archaeological complex that shows the incredible organization of the Mochica Culture. We will continue with a visit to the ‘Huacas de Moche’ Museum that showcases large information about this culture.
We will also visit the Arco Iris Temple (Huaca Dragon), and continue to Huanchaco, an ancestral fishermen's cove where we will get to see the boats called “Caballitos de Totora” with which the millenary tradition of artisanal fishing is maintained.
We will finish this day with a visit to the largest mud city in the world, Chan Chan, a World Heritage Site. We will make a tour of its ceremonial squares, shrines, reservoirs, among others.
After this visit you will be transferred back to your hotel.

Today we will travel about 60 km to the north of Trujillo, to the valley of the Chicama River, to visit one of the most important archaeological complexes of ancient Peru: El Brujo. We will visit its main monuments such as La Huaca Prieta, La Huaca Cao Viejo and La Huaca Cortada. The tour is complemented with a visit to the Cao Museum, where we can find much of the cultural legacy of the Moche, as well as the remains of the powerful Mochica leader, La Señora de Cao, the first ruler of the pre-Hispanic world.
We will return to the city to appreciate the beautiful colonial mansions and marvel at their imposing portals, balconies and churches, so well preserved.
We will finish the day with a visit to the Archaeological Museum of the “Universidad Nacional de Trujillo” for a general overview of the pre-Columbian cultures of the region.

Today we will be transported in a private vehicle to the city of Chiclayo. The trip will take approximately 4 hours.
Today we will visit the magnificent adobe platform of Huaca Rajada, where the tomb of the most powerful man of ancient Peru, the Lord of Sipan, was discovered. In the site museum we will be able to admire fabulous articles of gold and precious stones, belonging to the ancient Moche civilization. We will continue to the Royal Tombs of Sipan Museum, considered one of the most spectacular in America, which houses the most important Moche archaeological remains and displays the ornaments and jewelry found in the tomb of the Lord of Sipan.
After this visit, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight back.
