This itinerary offers the perfect mix of culture, archaeology, and coastal beauty to experience Peru’s north in just a few days.

In 4 days, explore the vibrant cultural hubs and stunning coastlines: Starting in Trujillo, where history comes alive at the ancient Chan Chan ruins and Huacas del Sol y de la Luna. Next, head to Chiclayo, home to the incredible Royal Tombs of Sipán and the journey ends in Máncora, the laid-back beach paradise, perfect for relaxation and watersports.

  • In Trujillo, we will start our tour to the Moche Valley to visit the Huacas del Sol y la Luna, an impressive archaeological complex that shows the incredible organization of the Mochica Culture. We will also visit the Huacas de Moche Museum that will show us more information about this culture.

    Then we will visit the sensational Rainbow Temple (Huaca Dragon), and continue our tour to Huanchaco, the ancestral fishermen's cove where we will appreciate the boats called “Caballitos de Totora” with which the millenary tradition of artisanal fishing is maintained.

    We finish this day with a visit to the largest mud city in the world, Chan Chan, cultural heritage of humanity. We will make a tour of its ceremonial squares, shrines, reservoirs, among others.

  • Early in the morning, we will be transferred in a private vehicle to the city of Chiclayo. The trip takes approximately 4 hours.

    Today we will visit the magnificent adobe platform of Huaca Rajada, where the tomb of the most powerful man of ancient Peru, the Lord of Sipan, was discovered. In the site museum you will be able to admire fabulous articles of gold and precious stones, belonging to the ancient Moche civilization. Then we will visit the Royal Tombs of Sipan Museum, considered one of the most spectacular in America, which houses the most important Moche archaeological remains and displays the ornaments and jewelry found in the tomb of the Lord of Sipan.

    We finish our cultural trip and head in our private vehicle to the beach resort of Mancora.

  • Today you will enjoy the wonderful and famous beaches of northern Peru. You will have the day off so you can choose to do some recreational activities on the beach or just relax.

  • Today you will have a free day to enjoy and in the afternoon you will be transferred to the nearest airport for your flight back.
