The Ministry of Transport and Communications (MTC), together with the concessionaire Lima Airport Partners (LAP) and key representatives of the aviation community, announced that the new terminal at Jorge Chávez International Airport will begin full operations on Sunday, June 1st, 2025.
Starting at midnight on June 1st, the transfer of operations from the current Faucett terminal to the new terminal located at Morales Duárez will begin. This transition will take apporximatelely 12 hours during which airport services will be temporary suspended. The process will be carefully planned to ensure it is safe, orderly, and efficient.
Additionally, from May 15th to June 1st, a “trial period” will be executed, with a limited number of operations. This phase aims to fine-tune operational processes and help our teams acclimate to the new airport flow.
