Reopens as Casa Andina Premium

Cusco's Historic Center is best understood on foot: cobblestone streets, colonial façades and the Plaza Mayor never more than a few minutes away. That is the setting of El Mercado, which has reopened as Casa Andina Premium Cusco El Mercado, now part of the Casa Andina group.

Where the day starts and ends

The hotel occupies a colonial house about a 7-minute walk from the Plaza Mayor and the Cathedral. Guests can step out after breakfast, served from 5:00 a.m., and reach the main sights without a transfer. In the afternoon, they return to a quiet base in the middle of the city rather than to a hotel on its edge.

With 32 rooms, the property is small enough to feel personal. The room mix:

At Alma Restaurant & Bar, the menu draws on regional and fusion cuisine. Breakfast is a buffet, and lunch and dinner are à la carte. The bar is open until 10:00 p.m.

Promotional rates through March 2027

To mark the reopening, Casa Andina is offering special rates at the hotel until March 2027. For agents, that makes it a well-located option to add to Cusco proposals at a price that gives clients room in their budget for other parts of the trip.
